high scenarios, time horizons 2030-2050-2100);<\/p><p><strong><em>Activity 1.3: <\/em><\/strong><em>m<\/em>apping Niamey\u2019s land cover using satellite imagery (Proba-V) and participatory mapping (WUDAPT methodology, involving local citizens);<\/p><p><strong><em>Activity 1.4: <\/em><\/strong><em>u<\/em>rban growth modelling to produce future (projected) land cover and urban growth scenarios for Niamey in 2050;<\/p><p><strong><em>Activity 1.5:<\/em><\/strong><em> u<\/em><em>rban climate simulations with the Urban Climate model to produce input for the digital platform, using regional climate model output and present\/future Niamey urban land cover maps as input (see above);<\/em><strong><em><br \/><\/em><\/strong><\/p><p><strong><em>Activity 1.6: <\/em><\/strong><em>a<\/em><em>rchitectural (IT) design and development of the digital urban climate information platform \u2013 initially as a pilot version and subsequently working towards the operational version;<\/em><strong><em><br \/><\/em><\/strong><\/p><p><strong><em>Activity 1.7: <\/em><\/strong><em>o<\/em>utreach and training regarding the use of the urban climate information platform to the user communities;<\/p><p><strong><em>Activity 1.8: <\/em><\/strong><em>e<\/em><em>xplore ways to exploit the climate information platform in the context of applications for international climate finance<\/em><strong><em>.<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p><strong><u>TARGET GROUP\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p><p>We aim for as broad and inclusive as possible an involvement of stakeholders, including :<\/p><ul><li><strong>Health sector <\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Energy sector <\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Industry \/ construction sector <\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Authorities : <\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Youth &amp;
